Value-Based Enterprises: Achieving Margin, Access, & Value
July 30, 2026Health system leaders continue to face sustained margin challenges and growing constraints on patient access, even as value-based performance expectations increase. This webinar will provide an overview of value-based enterprises (VBEs) and how they can be used to help align physicians, operations, and incentives around clearly defined, measurable goals.
Designed for organizations at any stage of value-based maturity, this session will demonstrate how health systems can launch focused VBE pilots, build physician engagement, and scale in a way that aligns with operational and financial goals.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Describe VBEs and distinguish them from traditional physician alignment models like employment arrangements, co-management structures, and standalone quality incentive programs.
- Discuss practical approaches to VBE adoption, including service line margin improvement, patient access and throughput optimization, and preparing for value-based reimbursement.
- Outline a phased approach for VBE implementation, including considerations of performance measurement, physician engagement, and collaboration with legal and compliance stakeholders.
