October 20–22, 2026Join us for a detailed program that will provide an in-depth overview of the Medicare cost report and key factors that drive reimbursement. We’ll dive into a combination of dynamic lectures, class discussions, and storytelling to help you expand your knowledge and assess unique reimbursement issues within your organization.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Define the purpose of the cost report and its role in determining payments.
- Examine each of the primary cost report worksheets.
- Describe the Medicare cost report settlement and various settlement components.
- Identify significant factors in hospital reimbursement, such as Medicare Advantage requirements, the prospective payment system, Medicare bad debts, and the wage index.
