Alex leads Forvis Mazars’ Forensics & Valuation service line in Florida. He has more than 25 years of experience in forensic consulting, valuation services, and corporate planning and analysis. He specializes in business valuations and economic damage calculations and has served clients in a broad range of disputes, including breaches of contract, fiduciary duty, and warranties; infringements of trademarks, trade dress, and patents; misappropriation of trade secrets; tortious interference; fraud and misrepresentation; shareholder and acquisition disputes; wrongful termination; personal injury; and family law matters. Alex has been designated as an expert witness in various courts in Florida and Georgia and has advised clients in a wide range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, distribution, retail, financial services, real estate, utilities, business and personal services, hospitality, and healthcare.
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, he worked in the forensic practice of a global accounting firm in Atlanta and Miami. He also has several years of corporate finance experience at a global, publicly traded hospitality company, where he managed finance teams at the project, business unit, and corporate levels.
Alex is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
He is a cum laude with general honors graduate of University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, with an M.B.A. degree and a B.B.A. degree.
