Angela Donnelly, a partner in Forvis Mazars’ Accounting & Assurance Professional Standards Group, has been appointed by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) to its Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group (SEIAG).
The SEIAG helps advise the PCAOB on audit standards and other important topics, including new and emerging issues in the profession. The group’s goal is to support the PCAOB’s work in protecting investors and furthering the public interest in the preparation of informative, accurate, and independent audit reports. Donnelly’s term with the 24-member group runs through Dec. 31, 2027.
“I’m honored and excited to be selected to the PCAOB’s Standards and Emerging Issues Advisory Group,” Donnelly said. “I look forward to working with the Board and fellow advisory group members on significant and evolving issues impacting the profession, and to contributing to the PCAOB’s important public interest mission. I am grateful for this opportunity and excited for the work ahead.”

At Forvis Mazars, she helps lead the development of firm policies, methodology, and guidance for audits performed under PCAOB standards, and actively consults on complex auditing matters. She plays a key role in initiatives to enhance audit quality across the firm and helps lead implementation efforts for new PCAOB standards.
Donnelly has previously served as a staff fellow at the Internal Auding and Assurance Standards Board, where she led projects to identify possible enhancements to professional audit standards. She also served as technical advisor to a member of the Auditing Standards Board at the AICPA. Prior to her current national office role with Forvis Mazars, she managed various SOX 404 integrated audits in the financial services sector, where she was involved in evaluating clients’ systems of internal control.
