About

Phuong has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services sector. She leads the sustainable finance group, advising financial institutions on the implementation of prudential regulations and risk standards, including those addressing climate change and sustainability.

She helps clients strengthen their risk management framework, ensuring that all aspects of their businesses operate in line with their strategy and risk appetite and in compliance with regulators’ expectations. She also helps them understand ESG-related risks, assessing their exposure, defining their position vis-à-vis those risks, designing policies, and implementing disclosure processes.

Phuong began her career as an auditor in France before working in the banking industry in New York and Paris. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars in the U.S., Phuong was at Forvis Mazars in London, where she led the financial services consulting practice and the risk management and prudential regulation banking practice.

She has the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification and is a member of ICAEW.

Phuong is a graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management, with a master of accounting and finance management, and is currently an admitted candidate to the sustainability master’s degree program of Harvard Extension School, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
