Paul is the national practice leader and service line leader for IT Risk & Compliance at Forvis Mazars. He has more than 25 years of experience providing business and technology solutions, with a deep background in identifying and mitigating security risks and performing cyber assessments for clients in the retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and banking industries.
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, he was a managing director in a midsize national accounting firm where he led the U.S. cyber practice. He focused on managed detection and response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security assessments, and cloud security services. He also worked at a national managed services organization where he was the head of cyber services and chief security officer.
Paul was awarded a bug bounty for submitting a remote exploit of an automotive remote access system that allowed remote starting and unlocking of the doors to any vehicle with the system deployed.
His certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCI QSA).
Paul is a graduate of Salisbury University, Maryland, with a B.S. degree in marketing and management information systems, and a graduate of Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania, with an M.B.A. degree.
