RHTP Funding: Compliance & Single Audit Readiness

September 14, 2026 Register Today

As $50 billion in federal Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) funding is deployed over five years, organizations should prepare now for compliance readiness. Many rural hospitals and health systems have limited experience managing federal grants at this scale, and RHTP funding carries compliance obligations that go far beyond traditional reimbursement models. Organizations that receive these funds will be subject to 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance, including Single Audit requirements when federal expenditures meet or exceed $1 million.

Join Forvis Mazars for a practical, compliance-focused session that will walk through the RHTP landscape, what funders and auditors expect, and how to shift your organization's mindset from traditional healthcare finance to federal grants readiness. This webinar will share insights on building a strong Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA), address the most common Single Audit findings, and equip your team with the knowledge to pursue RHTP funding with confidence and maintain compliance after it is awarded.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the RHTP funding landscape and what it means for your organization.
  • Identify the critical compliance obligations that come with federal RHTP funding.
  • Prepare for Single Audit requirements and avoid the most common findings.
