CHC Leadership Workshop: Mission-Driven Sustainability
May 13–14, 2026Sustainability in today’s community health center (CHC) environment requires more than cost containment. Clear leadership decisions, disciplined execution, and a balance between mission and margin are also needed.
This two‑day, in-person CHC leadership workshop will bring senior leaders together for practical discussion and applied learning on critical drivers of sustainability, including operations, staffing, revenue cycle performance, managed care strategies, value‑based care readiness, non‑labor expense management, and 340B and pharmacy optimization.
Throughout the workshop, participants will actively build a Sustainability Action Plan to help capture their organization’s priorities, decisions, and next steps. In addition, facilitated discussions with peers facing similar challenges will provide real‑world experiences for insights into how other industry leaders are navigating complex decisions. Combined with real‑time work on the Sustainability Action Plan workbook, participants will leave with a clear, actionable plan and renewed momentum to help them prepare for what’s next.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Identify the operational, financial, and strategic drivers that directly impact long‑term sustainability in CHCs.
- Evaluate performance and trade‑offs across staffing, revenue cycle, managed care, non‑labor expenses, pharmacy operations, and the 340B program using practical benchmarks and leadership‑level targets.
- Assess organizational readiness, alignment, and risk related to value‑based care participation.
- Apply insights gained from peer discussion and facilitated problem‑solving to inform leadership decision making.
- Develop a customized Sustainability Action Plan that prioritizes initiatives, clarifies ownership, and supports near‑ and long‑term execution aligned with the mission.
