Forvis Mazars LLP, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the United States, is proud to announce that Nate White, partner and leader of the firm’s Sustainability consulting practice, has been named to The Consulting Report’s Top Sustainability Consultants and Leaders for 2026. The program recognizes consultants who have demonstrated a significant impact on the consulting industry through their leadership in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) advisory services.
White’s leadership in sustainability and ESG has transformed the emerging practice area into a high-growth consulting practice, serving more than 30 new clients in the past year alone. Under his leadership, the practice has nearly doubled revenue, expanded its team, and established itself as a key driver of the firm’s consulting growth.
“Nate has an uncommon ability to bring clarity to a field that, for many of our clients, is still being defined,” said Jared Forman, service line leader for quantitative and AI consulting at Forvis Mazars. “That discipline has been instrumental in building one of the fastest-growing practices in the firm, and it’s exactly why clients trust him to bring the same standards of assurance to sustainability reporting that they’ve long expected from financial statements.”
A CPA with a background in financial assurance, White is helping shape how companies measure, report, and validate nonfinancial sustainability data—work that is increasingly critical as ESG reporting continues to expand across industries. Beyond client work, White contributes to the industry as a frequent speaker and author and remains actively engaged in his community through nonprofit leadership and mentorship.
White joins several other consultants from Forvis Mazars who have earned top industry recognition in recent months, including:
- Caroline Golmon-Hernandez, manager in the Healthcare Consulting practice, was named to Consulting Magazine’s 2026 Rising Stars list in the Operational and Process Consulting category.
- Jessica Coniglio, assistant managing partner and leader of the firm’s Business Transformation practice, was recognized among the Top 25 Women in Consulting for 2026 by The Consulting Report.
- Jennifer Jones and Chad Mulvany were named to Consulting Magazine’s Top Consultants 2026 list, in the Cybersecurity & Risk Technology and Thought Leadership & Intellectual Capital categories, respectively.
