Forvis Mazars LLP, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the United States, is pleased to announce that partner Christina Howard has been elected to the Board of Governors of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the international business honor society.
Howard joins a group of esteemed academic and corporate leaders working to advance Beta Gamma Sigma’s mission to honor academic excellence, develop forward-thinking business leaders, and foster a global community that uses business as a force for good. Since 1913, the organization has recognized the top performing students from around the world in business schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The board provides strategic direction and guidance to further elevate the honor society’s global impact.
“I’m honored to join the Board of Governors for Beta Gamma Sigma,” said Howard. “I was first introduced to Beta Gamma Sigma when I was invited to join as an undergraduate student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Serving in this role is a meaningful opportunity to support future business leaders while helping strengthen the mission and values of the organization.”
Howard has long been committed to professional and community leadership. She currently leads TALENT SHIFT LLC, a subsidiary of Forvis Mazars that aligns skilled professionals with project-based opportunities in advisory, assurance, and tax services across the globe. She also serves as the Fundraising Committee chair for the North Carolina CPA Foundation and has held numerous leadership roles within the firm. In addition to delivering exceptional client service, Howard is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of professionals and is passionate about fostering inclusive leadership across the profession.
Beta Gamma Sigma has inducted more than 970,000 members worldwide since its founding in 1913. The society is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.
