Forvis Mazars LLP, a top 10 U.S. public accounting and consulting firm, and the largest professional services firm in Western North Carolina, today announced a $150,000 donation to three beloved Asheville-area nonprofits: Bounty & Soul, Food Connection, and Eliada Homes. The donation, made through the Forvis Mazars Foundation, coincides with the firm’s upcoming move to the historic 1 Oak Plaza in downtown Asheville, deepening the firm’s commitment to Western North Carolina.
The Forvis Mazars Foundation focuses on three pillars of giving: health and wellness, education, and food security, reflecting the firm’s commitment to the local communities it serves across the country.
The $150,000 gift will be divided evenly among Bounty & Soul, Food Connection, and Eliada Homes, organizations that played a vital role in the recovery effort following Hurricane Helene and continue to serve the community with distinction. This donation builds on more than $200,000 in Helene recovery giving last year and is part of Forvis Mazars’ ongoing IMPACT projects in the region.

“This investment will directly support our purchase of a new 6,000-square-foot facility across from our current Food, Education, & Volunteer Hub—expanding our capacity to store, distribute, and deliver fresh, nutritious food to thousands of families each month,” said Ali Casparian, founder and executive director of Bounty and Soul. “In the wake of Hurricane Helene and amid rising food insecurity in our region, this gift helps us strengthen community health, resilience, and dignity for all. The Asheville office move is scheduled for early December, with Forvis Mazars relocating to the entire top floor of 1 Oak Plaza, a highly visible and historic building that has long been a focal point in local revitalization efforts. The new space reflects the firm’s growth from a regional player to a global powerhouse with more than 40,000 employees and 1,800 partners worldwide.
